Julia MacMillan is a Licensed Midwife (LM), Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), and mother.

For a decade she has been attending home, birth center, and hospital births in the Bay Area and internationally. Julia has had her own homebirth practice since 2011 and has worked in various capacities at Pacifica Family Maternity Center since it’s inception. She has also attended births in Northern Uganda and in Senegal with the amazing organization Mother Health International.

Julia had her own daughter at home in 2015 and has been a hard working mama since then! Being on the ‘other side’ has deepened her connection to the work of being a midwife and most importantly the work of being a parent.  New Morning Midwifery is currently a small practice working with only a select few families a year.
